Scott Safety is ready for what comes next.\n\nAssemble and/or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities: Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, operational sheet, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble components and/or products\nUtilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun\nMay perform machine operation or use various testing systems; makes minor adjustments per instructions\nMay package material or product per standards or drawings\nMaintain inventory of product in workstations\nPerform quality work checks to ensure the components and/or product meets quality standards\nIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified\nRework and/or repair assembled components and products according to engineering specification changes\nPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures\nFollow changing instructions from Team Leader related to job assignments or as directed by supervisor\nWilling to learn multiple operations within various work cells.\nMust be able to complete basic math.\nMust be able to work hours and overtime\nPerforms additional duties and functions as directed by the Supervisor\n\nRequired Experience/Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma/GED or higher\nMust have a MINIMUM of 6 months of manufacturing experience\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for long periods of time.\nMust be able to push/pull or lift a minimum of 30 pounds\nMust be able to bend/stoop, twist/turn, and reach/grasp\nThis is a hearing conservation area; therefore, hearing protection is required to be worn at all times in the area.\n\nPositions are for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
