{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ff01d50bbe7fd77bc8d4af21","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ff01d50bbe7fd77bc8d4af21","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ff01d50bbe7fd77bc8d4af21","title":"Quality Control","description":"Base Pay $19.00 - $19.5 / Hour\nEmployee Type Full-Time Non-Exempt\n\nDescription\n\nVerify correct components are utilized by inspectors and press operators according to the production order sheet.\n\nConfirm that the matrix numbers, labels, and vinyl color are correct for the production order.\n\nInspect record to ensure visual standards are met, including but not limited to dimples, scuffs, scratches, or other imperfections that may impair audio quality.\n\nUtilize measuring tools such as a microscope and scale to visually inspect and measure attributes of the records produced.\n\nFollow Quality Control procedures to ensure audio quality adheres to URP quality standards, including listening to a sample of records from the production order.\n\nInterpret audio and visual defects as conforming or non-conforming.\n\nEscalate and communicate nonconformances appropriately and professionally.\n\nDocument quality findings and measurements electronically, and complete other required documentation as outlined in QA/QC procedures and/or assigned by the supervisor/manager.\n\nWork together with the production team to ensure quality standards are met and upheld.\n\nMaintain a clean workspace.\n\nAll other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.\n\nRequirements\n\nRequired Education/Degree: High School diploma or equivalent\n\nRequired Certification/License: None\n\nRequired Work Experience: Must have a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Previous QA/QC experience in manufacturing environment a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications required.\n\nSummary\nPosition Summary: Perform audio inspections on production samples to ensure a high level of quality.
