The ERRCS Designer will be responsible for designing Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS), performing site surveys, creating system designs, and preparing necessary documentation. The candidate will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients, ensuring projects meet all regulatory standards and client expectations. Tasks may also include troubleshooting existing systems and providing recommendations for improvement.QualificationsFCC GROL (General Radio Telephone Operators License)BDA Manufacturer Certificates (Comba, ADRF, Westell, Honeywell, Etc.)NICET In-Building Public Safety Communications - Design CertificateStrong Knowledge and experience with iBwave SoftwareStrong knowledge and experience in ERRCS design and engineering, including RF principles and signal propagationAbility to conduct site surveys and assess infrastructure requirements for ERRCS implementationExperience with regulatory compliance and code adherence related to public safety communicationsProficiency in creating detailed system designs and technical documentationStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot technical issuesEffective communication skills, both oral and written, to collaborate with team members and clientsBachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or a related field preferred
