This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory, efficient order processing, and a safe, organized workspace.\n\nBenefits:\nMedical\nDental\nVision\n401(k)\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\n\nCompensation:\n$17.40 + hourly DOE\n\nResponsibilities:\nAccurately pick, pack, and store inventory in designated locations\nPerform routine cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy\nTransport materials throughout the warehouse to support workflow demands\nReceive, inspect, and process incoming shipments\nPrepare, package, and ship outbound orders, including UPS shipments\nWeigh, label, and secure finished goods for distribution\nCut, measure, and verify materials (including belts) to meet order specifications\nRebrand and label products using ink-jet equipment as needed\nSafely load and unload delivery trucks\nMaintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies at all times\nCollaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed\n\nThis is a safety-sensitive position.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred\nExperience with inventory control, order fulfillment, or shipping/receiving processes is a plus\nBasic computer proficiency, including data entry and inventory systems\nFamiliarity with handheld scanners or barcode systems preferred\nAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)\nStrong attention to detail, especially when verifying materials and order accuracy\nAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team\nWillingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities\n\nAbout Company\n\nSMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
