Informing supervisors of changes and discrepancies within the furnace processes.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\n/ Mechanical Assembly and repair of furnace equipment.\n/ Operate all Furnace equipment as needs require.\n/ Loading and unloading of all powder furnaces and equipment.\n/ Routine cleaning, care of machines, gages, and other equipment used.\n/ Use of hand, powered, and pneumatic tools.\n/ Inspect and/or sort powder from totes as required.\n/ Verification and use of measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges), indicators and weight scales.\n/ Compaction of powder or elements using press and die.\n/ Advise supervisor, R&D, or Engineering of any part, equipment, and process difficulties.\n/ Inform supervision of out-of-tolerance conditions.\n/ Follow all instructions as provided on process control plans and reference documents.\n/ Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.\n/ Audit products, processes, and documentation at machines and furnace as required by existing control plans.\n/ Complete necessary records both written and electronic.\n/ Record keeping (SPC charts, Production Reports, Product Routers, etc.)\n/ Participates in ongoing training and continuous improvement activities.\n/ Troubleshoot real-time processing issues.\n/ Required to periodically operate lifting equipment (fork truck, jib crane, etc.)\n/ Responsible for maintaining an organized clean work area.\n/ Ability to follow instruction and work well in collaborative environment.\n/ Packaging, labeling, and generating shipper documentation of produced materials.\n/ Perform other duties as assigned.\n/ 1st shift with possibility of 2nd and 3rd shifts: Monday to Friday.\nRequirements:\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\n/ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.\n/ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\n/ Ability to read and interpret standard/safe operating procedures (SOP) as well as control plans.\n/ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of\n/ managers, clients, customers, and the public.\n/ Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.\n/ Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.\n/ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\n/ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n/ To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software;
