The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is seeking a detail-oriented Program Coordinator, Safety & Health Services to support the planning, coordination, and execution of national safety programs, education initiatives, and member engagement efforts, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong member support, and the seamless execution of initiatives that advance safety culture and performance across the construction industry.The position plays a key role in advancing AGC’s mission by supporting initiatives that strengthen safety culture and performance across the construction industry. Success is measured by the seamless execution of programs, accuracy of deliverables, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.Essential Responsibilities & Duties:Program Coordination & ExecutionCoordinates the administration and delivery of national safety education programs, recognition initiatives, and related projects.Ensures program timelines, deliverables, and communications are executed accurately and on schedule.Supports continuous improvement efforts by tracking program data, identifying trends, and recommending enhancements.Member Engagement & SupportServes as a primary point of contact for AGC chapters and member firms, responding to inquiries and providing program guidance.Supports initiatives to increase participation, engagement, and overall member satisfaction.Content Development & CommunicationsDevelops, formats, proofreads, and distributes high-quality program materials, resources, and communications.Maintains and updates website content to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and current.Collaborates with marketing and communications teams to promote programs and initiatives.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartners with internal teams (meetings, sponsorships, communications, IT, membership, and marketing) to support program execution and alignment.Assists with coordination of conferences, meetings, and industry events, including on-site support as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.2–3 years of experience in program coordination, association management, events, education, or a related field.Experience supporting projects or programs with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.Experience working in a trade association or member-based organization a plus.Familiarity with CRM systems, learning management systems, survey tools, or event management platforms (e.g., Salesforce/Fonteva, Forj, WordPress, SurveyMonkey, Accredible) a plus.Skills & Competencies:Program and project coordinationStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCollaboration and cross-functional teamworkProblem-solving and process improvement mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365 toolsAbility to learn new systems and platforms quicklyWork Environment & Expectations:Hybrid work schedule with a required in-office presence two (2) days per week; remaining days may be worked remotely based on organizational needs.Primarily based at AGC headquarters, with a collaborative and team-oriented environment.Travel approximately 3–5 times per year to support conferences, programs, and industry meetings, including the AGC Annual Convention and other events.Occasional evening or early-morning hours may be required to support meetings across time zones or event execution.Periods of increased workload may occur during major program launches, conferences, and key initiatives.May occasionally be required to lift and carry light to moderately heavy materials (e.g., office supplies, event materials), generally up to 25 pounds.About the Organization:The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading national trade association for the construction industry.
