This work requires technical, analytic, and consultative skills.\r\nThe position may be remote or hybrid anywhere in the US depending on candidate location and commute to a hub location\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLeverage Python to develop new reporting and analytics using healthcare data (medical, pharmacy, lab)\r\nCreate business applications to deliver clinical or analytic solutions to constituents in a self-service fashion using Plotly Dash Enterprise.\r\nDrive forward enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.\r\nRefactor legacy programming code to improve turn-around-times and to take advantage of modern technologies.\r\nCommunicate with key stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand and actionable.\r\nDefine and deliver new technical capabilities in support of healthcare business initiatives that drive short- and long-term objectives.\r\nWork to expand, scale, and automate the analyses available to the broader team and the Aetna field.\r\nAbility to mentor and knowledge share with peers.\r\nMonitor and maintain applications and production processes required to deliver on business commitments.\r\nUse analytics and technology to solve business needs as well as to demonstrate to customers the value of Aetna's integration with CVS Health.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n3+ years of experience with a Python Data Engineering Stack in a professional environment.\r\n3+ Experience with SQL query development, working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.\r\nProficient in usage of the following Python libraries: Polars, NumPy, Pandas.\r\nProficient with: XML, JSON, YAML.\r\nExperience with AI prompting to assist with development with tools like Copilot and, Claude.\r\nProficient in the use of CI /CD pipelines and Git integration.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n5+ years in a technical analytics/reporting role, with 3+ years of experience focusing on Python, SQL in a professional environment.\r\nExperience with callback architecture, including client-side callbacks, pattern-matching callbacks, and callback optimization techniques for complex multi-page applications.\r\nExperience with Redis for application caching, session management, and real-time data storage.\r\nExperiencewith PostgreSQL including complex query optimization, indexing strategies, and database performance tuning.\r\nExpertise Celery for distributed task queue management and background job processing, including task routing, retry logic, error handling, and monitoring.\r\nExpertise in XlsxWriter for generating complex Excel reports with multiple worksheets, charts, conditional formatting, and data validation.\r\nExperience with front end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS.\r\nExperience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).\r\nExperience with specialized Python data management libraries, e.g., with DBT.\r\nExperience migrating on-premises capabilities and analytical workflows to the cloud, leveraging cloud-native technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness, e.g., with Google Cloud Platform.\r\nExcellent English communication and presentation skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with our team members and fostering a smooth and effective collaboration process.\r\nA strong ability to encourage teamwork and actively support the team's objectives is essential.\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.\r\nPay Range\r\nThe typical pay range for this role is\r\n$67,900.00 - $199,144.00\r\nThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
