Material Handler Pallet AssemblerClassification: Hourly, Non-ExemptSummary/ObjectiveThe Material Handler position main function is to repair wooden pallets to desired specs.Essential FunctionsUtilizing a nail gun to assemble wooden components to create wooden pallet.Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions using a crowbar and handsaw.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks:Able to lift 50 lbs.Able to work standing on your feet for 8+ hours a dayAble and willing to work in an outdoor environment.Able to bend and lift for 8+ hours a day.Must be willing to accept and receive frequent directives.As with all positions at LETEM Recycling, this position requires emphasis on quality and safety.
