As part of a team of machinists and operators, you will be responsible for the development and modification of machine programs. The components created range from simple fabrication to precision plastic injection molds. You will be regularly interfacing with Design Engineering on tolerance and cosmetics of machined components. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.\n\nOUR MISSION:\n“To be the unquestioned leader in innovation, design, service and quality while providing an enjoyable environment for employees that allows them to fulfill their potential.”\n\nWE OFFER:\nCompetitive benefits and compensation package\nGenerous employee discount\nRobust wellness program with cash incentives\nRide Share Programs\nFlexible time off\n\nYOU WILL:\nProgram, set-up and operate CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis mills, live tooling lathes and mill turn machines to produce prototypes, machine components and injection molds.\nComplete machining operations from 3D models, drawings and/or verbal instructions.\nMaintain tooling sheets and configuration control on legacy programs.\nTrain operators to use and create components from developed programs.\nCommunicate with and provide DfMA feedback to engineers.\nCreate instructions for machinists.\nReview 3D CAD design blueprints.\nCheck completed programs by running simulations or tests.\nPrepare geometric layout of designs using proper software.\nDetermine sequence of operations in a program.\nChoose cutting tools that will be needed.\nAnalyze job order and perform necessary calculations.\nWrite programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.\nAnalyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs.\nMake improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.\nSimplify tooling time for operators and increases productivity.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nHigh School Diploma or GED and a two-year technical program Diploma in a directly related discipline, plus a minimum six years’ experience in the technical field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExcellent oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal and team skills.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate a moderate level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, TEAMS, Excel, PowerPoint).\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep up with the administrative requirements of the position.\nProficiency in using Creo Manufacturing, Autodesk Feature CAM or DP Technologies Esprit software.\nProficiency creating and incorporating Renishaw probing routines to maintain quality of machined component.\nExperience with Haas and/or DMG Mori controls preferred.\nProficiency with manual lathes, knee mills and various other manual equipment.\n\nPlNG is a nicotine free company.
