In keeping with our history and traditions, we provide our students with a rigorous, broadly based liberal arts curriculum joined with specialization in a specific discipline.Position Summary and Key ResponsibilitiesThe School of Education at McKendree University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for the Graduate and Doctoral programs. Areas of need include recent experience as a district-level administrator (ideally as Superintendent), with expertise in School Law, State and District Policy, and Public-School Political issues.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:The successful candidate will have an earned Education Specialist degree from a regionally accredited institution and experience in one or more of the areas listed above and preferably be an active or recently active school administrator in the state of Illinois.Preferred Qualifications:Active school administrator in the state of Illinois. Doctoral degree in Education is preferred.Work ConditionsEvening availability is required.Regular pay rate: $2,145.00 for each 3-hour course, per semester. Higher rates may apply for larger course enrollments, labs, or other duties.Online/remote teaching opportunities may exist dependent on the needs of the course.
