This unique program provides the essential elements needed to support and execute crisis response, global reach, and forward presence. The Marine Corps’ Prepositioning Program enables the rapid deployment of Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs) and/or augment individual Marine units forward deployed. These forces are uniquely capable of strengthening alliances, securing strategic access, and defeating hostile adversaries. MPF is keystone in the Marine Corps’ capability for setting the conditions for national security. The prepositioning of equipment and supplies to support MAGTFs from Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), to Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level employment, enables Marine forces to fulfil their role and responsibility as our Nation’s force in readiness. Our prepositioning programs will continue to enable operations across the Joint Operational continuum – including shaping, deterrence, seizing the initiative, domination, stabilization, and enabling of civilian authorities. When combined with the forces and their equipment arriving in the fly-in echelon (FIE), prepositioning programs provide forward deployed equipment and supplies needed to sustain a MEB-sized MAGTF for 30 days of operations; thus reducing total strategic lift requirements.\nJob Summary\nThe scope of this position is to manage the quality program for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) engineering equipment to include the development and enforcement of maintenance and supply policies and procedures. The MCPP-PHIL Engineering Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Quality Manager.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPlan, coordinate, and execute the performance of all quality management functions for the MCPP-PHIL Task Order by implementing the following:\nCollect and analyze data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps engineering equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\nConduct detailed technical inspections on prepositioned engineering equipment.\nInterpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.\nAnalyze and display Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps, and MDSS II data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer.\nMonitor and update the Quality Management Data Base (IQS).\nEnsure that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner.\nInterpret the Statement of Work and how it applies to the quality program for engineering equipment.\nServe as liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists, facilitate and maintain an excellent working relationship with all government counterparts.\nMonitor the activities of all personnel engaged in the engineering equipment maintenance process, to improve quality and customer satisfaction.\nUse and interpret quality data and reports to identify maintenance status, trends, and process deficiencies.\nProvide quality presentations and metrics to brief senior leadership and make recommendations on ways to improve quality and reduce non-conformances.\nCoordinate with management to brief and train employees on the techniques and tools to identify, analyze, and lead efforts to solve problems and to provide improved customer satisfaction.\nConduct training on quality trends and ways to improve quality.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements. Establish and lead teams to work process improvement initiatives.
