Physician - Psychiatry - Psychiatrist - RCMC

Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatrist – This role is a balanced 0.50/0.50 FTE hybrid physician position at Rush Copley Medical Center. Location Aurora, Illinois – Rush Copley Medical Center Clinical & Academic Responsibilities 0.50 FTE inpatient services: Provide expert psychiatric consultation and stabilization within the Emergency Department, general medical‑surgical floors, and ICU. 0.50 FTE outpatient care: Manage a diverse clinical portfolio focusing on evidence‑based treatment for a broad range of psychiatric disorders. Academic engagement: Participate in Departmental Grand Rounds and contribute to clinical education. Specialized focus: Candidates with interest or experience in Consultation‑Liaison, Emergency Psychiatry, and Addiction Psychiatry are highly valued. Qualifications & Requirements Medical degree (MD/DO) and completion of an ACGME‑accredited Psychiatry residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Minimum 2 years of dedicated inpatient psychiatric experience (post‑residency/fellowship preferred). Permanent Illinois medical license and controlled substance registration, or eligibility for both. Residency within 45 minutes of Rush Copley Medical Center. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $277,750 - $368,000. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and other incentives.
