Manufacturing Process Tech. Needed in E. Butler-$20/hr This person will spend the majority of time on the plant floor with production employees examining equipment, processes and operations and will suggest and implement production improvements as necessary. Schedule: Rotating 8 hour shift schedule (7a-3p, 3p-11p & 11p-7a, all required)Monday - Friday schedule with night shifts starting at 11pm on Sundays.Pay Rate- $20/hrWhen hired on permanently there is a Shift Differential: + $.75/hour for all hours worked from 3p-7aTemp to Hire position Benefits upon Hire:Comprehensive health coverage effective immediatelyLife and Disability insurance401k with a 200% match10 paid holidaysPaid time off after 90 daysTuition Reimbursement Responsibilities: While the primary supervisor is absent, the production supervisor assistant will be responsible for the following: Making adjustments to press settings like steam, heat, temperature, cooling time, etc. to fix issues with partsAssist team members with press issues, training and problem solvingConduct back-up Safety, OSHA and other training as requiredParticipate in continuous improvement effortParticipate as department representative for all meetings on shiftAct as "manager on duty" as neededPress operation - counting and visually inspecting partsPerforming quality inspections to ensure products meet all specificationsFork truck operation (required - will train)Documentation under ISO/IATF guidelinesCross train on all equipment in the departmentQualifications:2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to teach others mechanical and technical skillsForklift use requiredMust be able to climb and work from a ladder.Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses.Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.A high school diploma or GED is required
