Duties may include contract accounting and reporting, financial performance analysis, contract funding and expenditure analysis and reporting, contract billing review, and budget variance analysis with a primary focus on contract travel requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This is a hybrid position, requiring three (3) days per week on-site.\r\nResponsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to:\r\nFinancial Planning & Analysis:\r\nApply financial and accounting principles for preparation and analysis of project financial and scheduling data and other contract or project business-related tasks.\r\nEmploy financial control procedures and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program/task status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements. This may include ensuring funding is available and recommending adjustments to budgetary plans and forecasts to ensure execution within the contract budget.\r\nProvide internal financial reporting and forecasting to the collaborating Program Control Analyst(s) as well as Program Leadership.\r\nParticipate in CCN2 financial analysis review with the leadership team; build presentation material for leadership review.\r\nMaintain insight into all travel financial execution and projections, actively coordinating with Government, Odyssey, and Subcontractor points of contact to ensure accurate and timely authorization and expense reports, as well as invoices, are produced and delivered accurately on time.\r\nAssess funding health to ensure appropriate levels are projected and available to support contract requirements.\r\nReadily communicate financial needs to expedite funding transactions needed for the continuity of operations.\r\nOperations & Contract Execution:\r\nEnsure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.\r\nActively engage with Odyssey managers and/or travelers to ensure optimal employee travel funding usage per contract requirements.\r\nParticipate in recurring meetings coordinating with multiple Odyssey departments, including Odyssey Accounting, Finance, and Contracts Department POCs.\r\nBe able to manage a myriad of tasks and initiatives simultaneously. Actively manage a predictable routine 'battle rhythm' that enables efficiency and continuous process improvement.\r\nCommunicate effectively with the program stakeholders to review requests, reports, invoices, and contract deliverables to explain detail, identify and provide analysis and forward notice of risks or issues, and alert of actual or potential deviations.\r\nQualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen\r\nMinimum Required Qualifications\r\nClearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance\r\nEducation: BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business\r\nYears of Experience: At least one (1) years of experience in a DoD financial planning and analysis, financial management, or cost analysis role.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Clearance: Active Clearance\r\nYears of experience: Two plus (2+) years of experience DoD financial planning and analysis, financial management, or cost analysis role.\r\nOther: Department of Defense Acquisition experience\r\nOther: Accounting and/or Financial Audit experience\r\nOther: Experience with DELTEK Costpoint and Cognos reporting\r\nTechnical Skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, connecting external data, consolidating data, and utilizing complex formulas.\r\nInterpersonal Skills Strong ability to communicate across all levels of the organization with both internal and external customers\r\nCritical thinking skills\r\nAbility to prioritize workloads to support the needs of a dynamic and geographically dispersed team.\r\nAdditional Information Location: Niceville, FL\r\nTravel: 5%\r\nRemote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid three (3) days a week inoffice with telework opportunities\r\nCompany Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
