Lead Analyst, Enterprise Business Systems
The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Lead Analyst, Enterprise Business Systems to provide technical leadership in the implementation and support of corporate system software, formulate and define system scope and objectives, devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This role is also responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Provide production support of corporate applications and technical guidance to other analystsReview the quality of changes to the system as proposed by analysts and recommend improvementsAuthorize changes to the system and migrate to productionReview problem management reports for accuracy, thoroughness and qualityUtilize technical expertise to advise, guide and direct others in development and support of new or existing systemsAct as a technical consultant to end-users as neededProvide technical direction in analysis, design, implementation and documentation of new or existing systems and perform development or implementation as requiredPrepare program specifications and procedures necessary to support development processWHAT YOU'LL NEED:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience3-5 years of experience in analysis, design, programming, and business process flowsWHAT YOU'LL BRING: Extensive experience with CRM platforms, including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and others.Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookProven analytical, written and verbal communication skillsExperience with the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering to development, testing and deliveryUnderstanding of the latest technology, social media and communications developmentsAbility to multi-task, delegate and prioritizeFinancial acumen to manage and adhere to project plansAbility to evaluate and manage riskAbility to motivate others to complete work and fulfill obligationsAbility to work with teams and vendorsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environmentAbility to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a teamMust be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and models, as well as organization structuresProfessionalism in dealing with all levels of management, staff, contributors and vendorsFlexible, with a service-oriented attitudeEnjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challengesIf you are a current Scripps employee, please do not apply on this site.
