{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"febdc6241fc59bda74d800a4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/febdc6241fc59bda74d800a4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/febdc6241fc59bda74d800a4","title":"Program Assistant / Clerk Typist II","description":"*Job Overview*\n\nThis position is responsible for serving as an assistant to the department supporting Alternative Payment and Resource & Referral Program.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Attends to all walk-in clients, telephone, and internet inquiries in a professional manner; effectively route calls and messages to appropriate staff, when needed.\n* Attends all scheduled appointments; effectively reviews and verifies all required documentation at the time of check-in.\n* Takes and transmits messages.\n* Provides great customer service to internal/external clientele.\n* Assists with audit preparation.\n* Makes appointments; assists with schedules, meetings, classes, and organizes meetings, prepares required informational materials or classes by notifying participants and makes room arrangements.\n* Procures, stores, and distributes office supplies.\n* Assists with copying, typing, mailing, sorting, filing of program forms and documents as needed; sorts and distributes mail received by departmental staff.\n* Assists visitors with the R&R Resource Room activities and maintains resource room supplies and equipment, _when needed._\n* Maintains office equipment and facilities by performing routine maintenance and contacts repair personnel as needed.\n* Shares information regarding APP/R&R programs with individuals or refers to other community agencies or resources, as necessary.\n* Assist the immediate supervisor with reports, correspondence, and procurements.\n* Performs childcare referral requests and family support in promoting quality childcare.\n* Performs a variety of office administrative tasks such as purchasing requisitions; ordering materials and supplies; makes accurate mathematical calculations and performs general accounting operations.\n* Input applications and maintains accurate database for APP subsidized childcare eligibility waitlist. Prepares various reports on family waitlist data as requested by supervisor and/or program staff.\n\n*Education / Experience*\n\n* High School Diploma or GED.\n* One year’s experience in data processing\n* Two years’ experience in clerical or secretarial field.\n\nWe are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting families and connecting the community to quality childcare resources.
