Position Overview
Aurawell is seeking a Community Manager to help launch and grow our presence in the wellness, recovery, and performance space. This role will be hands-on in building community, creating content, and developing partnerships that bring the brand to life.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how Aurawell shows up—both locally and nationally—through events, relationships, and day-to-day engagement. This position is ideal for someone who takes the time to understand the community, builds strong connections, and turns insight into action.
The ideal candidate is comfortable representing the brand, working cross-functionally, and stepping in wherever needed to move things forward in a fast-paced, launch-stage environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute community engagement initiatives that drive brand awareness, loyalty, and long-term growth
Support the launch and expansion of Aurawell through events, partnerships, and brand storytelling
Create and help manage content across social media and marketing channels
Build and maintain relationships with wellness professionals, fitness and recovery facilities, sports organizations, and brand advocates
Represent Aurawell at events, networking opportunities, and community activations locally and nationally
Support and grow existing partnerships, including LouCity Soccer teams and training facilities, and the UFL
Identify and develop new partnership opportunities aligned with wellness, recovery, and performance communities
Manage community interaction across social platforms, engaging thoughtfully and consistently with the audience
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across priorities and support shared goals
Gather insights from the community and use them to inform content, partnerships, and future initiatives
Take ownership of community initiatives from planning through execution
Assist in building ambassador, referral, and advocacy programs
Ensure all community-facing efforts are consistent, professional, and aligned with brand standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in community management, brand marketing, content creation, partnerships, or related roles
Experience supporting the launch or growth of a new brand, product, or initiative
Experience in medical device, med tech, health tech, wellness technology, or another regulated or technical industry strongly preferred
Interest in or experience with wellness, recovery, fitness, or performance-focused markets
Ability to understand and clearly communicate PEMF technology and related applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience creating content that supports brand awareness and engagement
Comfortable with public speaking, networking, and representing a brand
Experience managing community engagement through social media platforms
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Must be based in Louisville, Kentucky, or surrounding area
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with wellness, recovery, fitness, or performance brands
Experience building local and national partnerships
Familiarity with athlete, sports performance, or fitness communities
Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, or launch-stage environment
Experience contributing to content strategy or campaign development
