assistance for engineering staff • Provide technical support to less senior technical staff • Interface with Sales/Marketing and customers as required • Responsible for generating preliminary documentation for fabrication of prototype models which may include fabricating, testing, troubleshooting and repairing analog and digital/analog circuits • Testing will include subjecting product model with either actual or prototype breadboard to environmental conditions to establish operational stability, reliability and conformity to design • Prototyping will also include recommending and designing fixtures, tooling and equipment for the manufacture of product within manufacturing • Maintain necessary records, files and reports • Make effective and efficient use of all resources including but not limited to inventory materials, supplies, tools and tolling, equipment, technicians etc. • Practice good housekeeping in own area • Properly maintain equipment to include reporting uncalibrated equipment • Ability to generate instructional information for the manufacturing of product being transferred from engineering to manufacturing • Interface with other departments, vendors and manufacturing • Follow established company rules and regulations • Follow ISO policy and procedures throughout all work performed • Consult supervisor when unusual conditions exist and or safety issues arise • Perform other related duties as required
