We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD(HA)).\nThe ASD(HA) is the principal staff advisory to the Secretary of Defense for health and oversees the Military Health System (MHS). The MHS is comprised of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the medical readiness organizations of the Military Departments, and the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences.\nYour day-to-day work will include:\nLeading a team of JCIDS (Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System) and PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution) analysts as well as one technical writer.\nOverseeing the successful execution of complex, multi-disciplinary programs involving capability development, requirements definition, resource planning, and technical documentation.\nEnsuring timely delivery of high-quality program outputs and manages the team to meet all program objectives, milestones, and stakeholder requirements.\nProviding strategic leadership and direction for the JCIDS and PPBE analysis team as well as the technical writer.\nManaging the overall program lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closeout.\nCollaborating with stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and requirements.\nDeveloping and overseeing the program schedule and budget, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.\nMonitoring program performance and risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.\nFacilitating coordination and communication between the JCIDS, PPBE, and technical writing functions.\nMentoring and developing the team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.\nRepresenting the program with senior leadership and external stakeholders.\nEnsuring compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards.\nAt a minimum you should have:\nAn active SECRET clearance.\nA bachelor’s degree and at minimum 18 years OR Master’s degree with at minimum 10 years of extensive experience leading and executing program and/or project management efforts within the DoD environment.\nA strong background in JCIDS and PPBE processes.\nA proven track record of leading the integration and execution of complex, multi-disciplinary programs.\nExtensive knowledge of capability development, requirements definition, and resource planning.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nThe ability to analyze program performance data and make data-driven decisions.\nExperience in working with senior leadership and navigating complex organizational structures, specifically with Senior U.S. Military Staffs, DoD stakeholders, and/or DoD/Army Financial Management personnel.\nYou will be highly desirable if you have:\nA master's degree.\nPMP or other relevant certification.\nExperience working in a defense or government environment.\nKnowledge of agile project management methodologies\nAll employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and/or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.\n**This job description is subject to change at any time.\nWork Type: On-Site (The Pentagon)\nEstimated Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000\nThe provided salary range serves as a broad reference.
