Successful candidate will be required to work cohesively with field and office personnel in the processing of weekly in-house payroll.\nThis role works closely with field personnel, back office teams, management and accounting,\nJob Requirements will include but are not limited to:\nAble to meet strict deadlines\nBe extremely detail oriented; this position is largely comprised of data entry\nPossess good organizational/document control\nFollow direction\nSelf-motivated with a desire to learn\nWork well within a team and fast paced environment\nMaintain employee confidentiality and records\nComplete requests for Verifications Of Employment (VOE), garnishments, and court orders.\nProcess certified payroll\nAssist with drug screen program; this would require candidate to become a DER and be placed on random drug screening\nPosition requires ability to lift , bend, reach above shoulder level, climbing stairs, pulling, prolonged standing and/or sitting\nSkills:\nMinimum of 3 years of Payroll experience\nAccounting experience a plus\nAble to type 50+ WPM\nIntermediate working knowledge of Excel\nApplicant must pass proficiency tests for typing and Excel before being considered for interview.\nApplicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.\nPay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour\nBenefits:\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nRetirement plan\nVision insurance\nApplication Question(s):\nWhy do you want to join the Hampton Tedder Electric Co.
