A key focus of this role is providing solutions that are robust, scalable, and highly available. The Junior Engineer, DevOps is passionate about learning and enjoys a deep dive into complex problems and technologies. Critical to this role is the ability to clearly and concisely break down non-trivial concepts for mixed audiences.\r\nJob Functions:\r\nConfigure cloud services, cloud native container orchestration platforms for high traffic applications.\r\nCollaborate with technical teams and cloud vendors to define best practice adoption of cloud technology and deliver best of breed solutions.\r\nAutomate application delivery pipelines for containerized and legacy applications running in the cloud and on-premise.\r\nProvisioning monitoring and APM tools to provide application health insights.\r\nProvision, configure and maintain infrastructure for multiple production and test environments.\r\nCollaborate with cross functional teams to proactively reduce MTTR or production incidents through automated healing mechanisms and curating health indicators. Troubleshoot issues in real time as part of incident response.\r\nSkills:\r\n5+ years of overall experience in System Operations, Software Development, or both plus 1+ years of experience in design, provisioning, and automation of distributed infrastructure/applications in cloud and on-premises environments.\r\nAwareness and use of security technologies in eCommerce development.\r\n1+ years experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and Docker.\r\n1+ years experience deploying and managing applications to public cloud systems i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.\r\nStrong practical Windows and Linux-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.\r\nExperience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.\r\nPrior success in automating a real-world production environment.\r\nExperience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments.\r\nExperience building CI/CD pipelines with products like TeamCity/Octopus, Jenkins, Bamboo.\r\nKnowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.\r\nFamiliarity with any monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Nagios, New Relic.\r\nExperience with revision control source code repositories like Git, TFS, SVN, Mercurial.\r\nAdditional Tech Stack in Environment - Nice to Haves but will train candidates!\r\nAWS – Network type stuff (firewalls, routing, load balancing) – will be in charge or troubleshooting rather than deploying, security groups, EC2, API gateways, cloud formation, understanding ports - 99.99% AWS\r\nKubernetes\r\nTerraform\r\nScripting\r\nBuilding web servers\r\nSecurity\r\nRequired Skills : Must Haves:\r\n4-5 years of development or operations experience before DevOps – need to be good in development, operations, OR a combination of both before moving into DevOps role.\r\n1+ years of AWS cloud background\r\n1+ years Build and Release pipelines with any tool – preferably Jenkins\r\n1+ years in Kubernetes\r\nBackground Check : Yes\r\nDrug Screen : Yes\r\nNotes : Exclusive Jr DevOps Engineer opening with a strong relationship of ours!
