{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"feae9ffab25419c5ffe447ec","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/feae9ffab25419c5ffe447ec","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/feae9ffab25419c5ffe447ec","title":"Associate Lab Computing Analyst","description":"Job Title: IT - Service - Associate Lab Computing Analyst\nLocation: San Juan, PR\nShift:8am-5pm\nDuration: 8-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Conversion)\nPay Rate: $13.47/hr\nBenefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage\nWork Model: Fully Onsite\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nImplements, monitors and provides technical support of customer laboratory IT environments, typically integrated with instrumentation\nImplements customer specified benchtop computing design and processes\nAdministers and assures connectivity of customer’s Windows based platform\nMaintains and supports the operating system, desktop hardware and peripherals, enterprise print strategy, management tools, application packaging, desktop tool development, software distribution, and core desktop applications\nManage On-boarding, retirement and relocation of equipment\nImplements Windows based security, including but not limited to: user / group permissions, file / folder permissions, group policies, local security policies, etc.\nAnalyzes, identifies, and implements enhancements, upgrades and/or solutions to improve the overall support of the desktop platform in a timely manner\nEnsures adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs\nActs as the technical support contact for field service engineers, repairing and troubleshooting client instrument and information technology issues\nFollow documented procedures, policies, troubleshooting and best practices\nCreate and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PC’s, software and any other information pertinent to the environment\nSubmit weekly Engineer reports to the team lead by COB on the last business day of the week\nActs as Liaison for software/hardware related inquiries\nEscalates IT issues that are not resolved PKI Lab IT analysts\nParticipates in client team meetings\nEscalates delivery concerns to the team lead\n\nCritical Skills:\nExcellent customer service skills complimented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technology issues.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed timeframes\nBasic Qualifications:\nAssociate degree or relevant industry experience.\nOne year of deskside experience including (but not limited to);
