Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.\nPosition Summary: Under general supervision operates two or more numerically controlled machines simultaneously to drill low tolerance holes in panels. Independently performs complex and standard machine setups involving loading NC programs, aligning the pinning of the panels, visually and mechanically inspecting the panels, and making the required adjustments. Perform the necessary tasks to keep multiple machines at or near capacity output levels.\nQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.\nRequired Skills:\nResponsibilities:\nSelect drills from planning sheet call out.\nSet up drilling machine and make work zero corrections from the 4-point x-rays.\nOperate more than one drill when conditions permit.\nHelp others when time allows.\nRemove broken drills and fix shallow drilled holes.\nClean the drill equipment and work area.\nLog in and out of the Proms computer.\nEmpty trashcans and put in proper recycle bin.\nJob Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum one (1) year experience in the printed circuit industry, in Drilling.\nUnderstanding of industry standards and appropriate application.\nMust be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.\nAbility to effectively follow company systems and procedures.\nMust be able to work with little supervision.\nStrong knowledge in military and rigid flex boards.\nComputer skills required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\nCompensation/Benefits:\nSummit offers a variety of health and benefit programs.
