Compensation includes fixed fees per service, guest gratuities, enhancement incentives, retail commissions and other incentive opportunities.Schedule - Nights 3pm -9pm and weekends are required.Job Responsibilities:Guest Experience & ServiceCreate a welcoming, calming atmosphere with professional, courteous, and guest-centered serviceProvide a variety of personalized massage treatments (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, etc.) that meet spa guidelines and licensing standardsEducate guests about spa services, treatment benefits, and wellness practices that support well-beingUse guest names when known and uphold Forbes and Mirbeau's language standards and etiquetteSupport a seamless guest journey by collaborating with spa attendants, front desk and fellow service providersListen and respond to guest questions and concerns promptly, courteously, and professionallyTreatment Preparation & SanitationPrepare and maintain clean, stocked and organized treatment rooms before and after each service- properly cleaning, restocking supplies and resetting equipmentFollow spa guidelines and industry best practices for sanitation and sterilizationProperly care for equipment and use products efficiently to support quality and cost control and prevent wasteUphold spa policies and state licensing requirements, including adherence to all safety and ethical guidelinesPerform all prep and post-service tasks with precision, care, and attention to detailKnowledge & DevelopmentPossess full knowledge of all spa treatments, products, and guidelinesStay current on new massage techniques, spa treatments, and wellness industry trends relevant to the massage therapist roleWillingly train in Mirbeau's specific treatments and adapt to new services as introducedProfessionalism & ReliabilityArrive on time, in a clean uniform with name tag, and maintain a neat, well-groomed appearanceBe prompt with each appointment and complete services within the scheduled time frames- coordinating with the front desk and attendantsContribute positively to the spa work environment with a professional, calm and composed attitudeDemonstrate discipline, reliability, and ability to work independently without constant supervisionTeamwork & CommunicationCollaborate with spa leadership and team members to ensure smooth and seamless spa operationsProactively inform management of any guest concerns or unusual situations requiring attention in a prompt mannerAttend training sessions and team meetings as required by spa leadershipAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintain confidentiality and discretion for all guests at all times, ensuring guest comfort and trustUphold the integrity of your license and spa policies by maintaining ethical, safe and professional practices at all times.Fulfill any other responsibilities or assist with special tasks as directed by spa leadership or Spa DirectorQualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:Licensing & ExperienceMust hold and maintain a current, valid NYS License for Massage TherapyThorough knowledge of massage modalities and technique, with the ability to customize treatments for each guest; experience with wellness-based treatments preferredProficiency in a variety of massage modalities (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, etc)Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications to ensure safe and effective treatmentsPrior experience in a spa, wellness, or refined hospitality environment strongly preferredWillingness to train in and perform spa-specific or signature treatments as required per the spa's service offeringsWellness & Service ExcellenceProven commitment to delivering elevated, personalized serviceGenuinely guest-oriented with a passion for creating lasting client relationships and encouraging loyaltyAbility to offer thoughtful, wellness-based solutions aligned with guest goals and spa standardsEnthusiastic and passionate about wellness, self-care practices and holistic guest experiencesCommunication & ProfessionalismStrong verbal and written communication skills;
