FES is a U.S.-based company that is a service provider in food safety, agri-food enterprise development, and international market access in emerging markets. FES has a long track record of working with food enterprises across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and other emerging markets. FES works directly with small and medium food enterprises to help them meet international food safety standards and increase access to local and global markets. The OpportunityFES is seeking a qualified firm to help develop a web-based platform for serving our clients. We are looking for a development partner with the following profile:•       Proven web application experience: A track record of delivering complete web platforms — not just front-end templates. Experience with user authentication, database-driven backends, role-based access control, and interactive dashboards.•       Full-stack capability: The team must cover UX/UI design, frontend development, backend development, database design, and cloud hosting and deployment.•       Security-conscious: Experience implementing secure web applications. Familiarity with OWASP standards.•       Mobile-first and low-bandwidth aware: Understanding of building for users on mobile devices and slow internet connections in developing countries.•       Bilingual support experience: Experience building English/French bilingual applications is a strong advantage.•       Collaborative and communicative: Ability to work closely with a non-technical client team, provide weekly progress updates, and adapt based on feedback.•       Availability: Capacity to begin work promptly and deliver within a defined short-term timeline.FES will provide a comprehensive project briefing to shortlisted applicants. How to Respond — Capability StatementInterested firms or teams are invited to submit a brief Capability Statement of no more than 3 pages (PDF preferred) that includes the following:Brief introduction to your firm or team: who you are, where you are based, team size, and years in operation.Relevant experience: describe 2 or more web application projects you have delivered. For each, include a short description of what was built, your role, the technologies used, and an outcome or result. Client names may be anonymized if needed.Team composition: names and brief professional profiles (3–5 lines each) of the individuals who would work on this project, with their proposed roles.References: provide one contact reference per comparable project (name, organization, email or phone). References may be contacted by FES.Expression of interest: one short paragraph stating why your firm is a strong fit for this specific opportunity.Please do not include pricing in your Capability Statement.
