Today, Geoforce connects more than 250,000 assets across 90+ countries through purpose-built rugged devices, global cellular and satellite connectivity, and powerful cloud software.\n\nFleet Management solutions were built around drivers and driver workflows. Field Asset Intelligence is built around equipment. By connecting revenue-critical equipment and turning its activity into actionable intelligence, Geoforce helps customers improve utilization, efficiency, agility, and competitive advantage.\n\nWe are building and defining this category — and we want curious, confident people who are energized by the opportunity to build something different.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nGeoforce is looking for a Solution Architect — a technically minded, customer-facing problem solver who helps our sellers win large, complex, and unique opportunities.\n\nThe Solution Architect works closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand customer needs, design the right solution, and establish confidence in how Geoforce technology will work. You will support discovery, solution design, tailored demonstrations, technical presentations, POCs, integrations, proposals, architectural discussions, and technical validation.\n\nYou will quickly develop expertise across Geoforce hardware and software and learn to translate technical capability into business value.\n\nThis role supports sellers, but it also requires leadership. You should know when your expertise needs to lead the conversation, when to challenge an assumption or recommend a different approach, and when to support the AE or AM as they lead the customer relationship.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nPartner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers on strategic new-logo opportunities and significant or unique customer expansion opportunities.\n\nLead technical discovery to understand customer workflows, equipment, operating environments, requirements, constraints, and desired outcomes.\n\nDesign and configure solutions across Geoforce hardware, software, connectivity, and services.\n\nDevelop and deliver tailored and custom demos, technical presentations, solution proposals, and other materials required to advance opportunities.\n\nLead or support POCs, technical evaluations, integrations, architectural discussions, and solution validation.\n\nDevelop deep expertise across Geoforce devices, software, APIs, integrations, data flows, and solution architecture.\n\nKnow the Geoforce price book and accurately configure solutions while supporting the AE/AM, who owns the commercial conversation.\n\nHelp sellers — particularly newer sellers — understand our technology, where Geoforce wins, and how to position our solutions effectively.\n\nPrioritize multiple engagements based on customer need, opportunity complexity, strategic importance, and potential company impact.\n\nMarshal resources across Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, Marketing, and other teams to solve complex customer problems and fill solution gaps.\n\nBuild consensus among customers, sellers, technical stakeholders, and internal teams around the right approach.\n\nApply approved AI and GenAI tools to improve discovery, accelerate solution design, develop demos and technical content, strengthen proposals, and scale repeatable pre-sales work.\n\nBring customer and prospect learning back into Geoforce to improve products, processes, messaging, and future solutions.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n8+ years of professional experience demonstrating technical aptitude, customer engagement, problem solving, solution development, or increasing responsibility.\n\nStrong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly develop expertise across both hardware and software.\n\nAbility to understand complex customer problems and translate them into practical technology solutions.\n\nStrong customer-facing communication and presentation skills across business, operational, and technical audiences.\n\nExperience with technical discovery, solution design, demos, proposals, POCs, or similar customer-facing work.\n\nAbility to explain technical concepts clearly in business terms and connect technical capability to customer value.\n\nComfort working through ambiguity and developing creative approaches when the answer is not obvious.\n\nAbility to juggle and prioritize multiple complex opportunities without losing attention to detail.\n\nStrong collaboration, consensus-building, and leadership skills without requiring formal authority.\n\nCommercial awareness and an understanding that solution value should be established before price becomes the center of the conversation.\n\nConfidence in where Geoforce wins, paired with the judgment to never overstate what the technology can do.\n\nA team-first mentality and the situational awareness to know when to lead, challenge, advise, or let the AE/AM lead.\n\nMeaningful interest in artificial intelligence and how it can improve and scale pre-sales work.\n\nWhat Matters Most\n\nWe think curiosity is a professional capability.\n\nA great Solution Architect wants to understand the equipment, workflow, environment, technology, economics, and constraints behind a customer problem — not simply match a requirement to a feature.\n\nYou want to know how something works, not just memorize what it does. You ask the next question, learn quickly, and are comfortable saying, “I don’t know yet, but I know how to find out.”\n\nYou bring technical confidence without arrogance, challenge conventional thinking when it improves the solution, and have some swagger about where Geoforce wins and why it matters.\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience in Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, or a related role.\n\nExperience with IoT, telematics, industrial technology, connected devices, cellular or satellite communications, or location-based solutions.\n\nExperience with B2B SaaS or enterprise software.\n\nExperience with APIs, integrations, system architecture, or enterprise data environments.\n\nExperience supporting industrial, energy, construction, equipment rental, logistics, or other equipment-intensive industries.\n\nExperience using Salesforce.\n\nPractical experience applying AI or GenAI tools to technical, sales, proposal, demonstration, or discovery workflows.\n\nPrior industry experience is helpful. Technical aptitude, curiosity, judgment, customer presence, and learning velocity matter more.\n\nWhy Join Geoforce\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on some of Geoforce’s largest, most technically interesting, and most unique opportunities.\n\nYou will work directly with sellers, customers, Product, Engineering, and experts across the company. You will have the latitude to think creatively, the responsibility to establish technical confidence, and the opportunity to shape solutions rather than simply demonstrate features.\n\nYou will also be joining Geoforce at an important moment: we are defining Field Asset Intelligence and working toward a world in which revenue-critical equipment is no longer disconnected.\n\nFor the right person, the role offers meaningful career progression as our business, solutions, and category expand.\n\nBenefits & Perks\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nCompany-sponsored health, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance\n\n401(k) plan\n\nFlexible Spending Accounts and dependent care reimbursement\n\nGenerous Paid Time Off and paid holidays\n\nAccess to modern technology and AI tools\n\nCollaborative, execution-focused culture with significant opportunity to learn and have visible impact","company":"Geoforce","rawCompany":"geoforce","city":"Plano","state":"TX","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-25T01:44:39.958Z","occupations":[{"code":"41-9031.00","title":"Sales Engineers","slug":"sales-engineers"},{"code":"15-1299.08","title":"Computer Systems Engineers/Architects","slug":"computer-systems-engineers-architects"},{"code":"41-4011.00","title":"Sales Representatives, Wholesale and Manufacturing, Technical and Scientific Products","slug":"sales-representatives-wholesale-and-manufacturing-technical-and-scientific-products"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Solution Architect","description":"Who We Are\n\nGeoforce is the world’s leading Field Asset Intelligence provider, on a mission to connect the world’s equipment.\n\nSince 2007, we have helped organizations network the rugged, remote, mobile, and often disconnected equipment their businesses depend on.
