We are looking for an outgoing Mobile Service Technician who is great with people, and with mechanical vehicle challenges, willing to work in our Ford Transit 350 van that’s been outfitted as a “shop on wheels” to serve area customers on their own turf all over the Mitchell area.\n\nBenefits:\n\n$22 to $30 per hour plus commission\n\nHealth Insurance\n\nDental Insurance\n\nVision Insurance\n\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\n\nLife Insurance\n\n401(k)\n\n401(k) matching\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nReferral Program\n\nEmployee Discount\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nWe have an employee pantry with FREE energy drinks, pop, sandwiches, candy, chips, and all kinds of other snacks.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide outstanding customer service when working face-to-face with service customers.\n\nClearly communicate with customers and coworkers and properly document repairs performed.\n\nPerform recalls, basic diagnostics, and light maintenance on-site on customer vehicles.\n\nAssisting customers with the process of moving more “shop-worthy” repairs to the dealership.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.\n\nAbility to drive a Ford Transit 350 van\n\nMust be a problem solver who is capable of making sound, independent decisions.\n\nA self-directed worker who thrives with minimal supervision.\n\nAble to take initiative and own projects from concept to completion.\n\nSeeking an accountable individual with high ethical standards.\n\nMust possess unquestionable reliability and integrity.\n\nWe pride ourselves on honesty and need a team member with proven dependability.\n\nMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.\n\nMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening.\n\nAt Vern Eide Ford, we value teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
