Engineer to take ownership of plant-wide electrical, instrumentation, control, automation, and networking systems.\nThis role is responsible for ensuring safe and reliable plant operations at the lowest life-cycle cost while developing and executing cost-effective projects that improve productivity across multiple facilities.\nThis position oversees operations in:\n\nVictorville, CA\nKnoxville, TN\nClinchfield, GA\nPosition Overview\nThe Reliability & Projects Engineer will:\n\nEnsure safe and reliable plant operations\nIdentify and resolve chronic electrical and automation issues\nManage full project lifecycle from design, programming, simulation, testing, commissioning, and documentation\nLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major failures\nMonitor and optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs\nReview and update SOPs and maintenance procedures\nTrack KPIs and reliability metrics\nDrive continuous improvement using Six Sigma methodologies\nCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT teams\nPrimary Technical Requirements\nCandidates must have hands-on experience with:\n\nHigh-voltage electrical power systems (440–480V and above)\nElectrical controls systems\nIndustrial automation\nPLC logic and HMI programming\nInstrumentation and control devices\nMCCs, VFDs, transformers, and switchgear\nProcess control networks and cybersecurity systems\nCMMS systems (SAP preferred)\nPreferred Industry Background\nCement\nAggregates / Mining\nHeavy Manufacturing\nOil & Gas\nAutomotive\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Networking Engineering\n2-5 years of experience in electrical, automation and transformers within an industrial manufacturing environment\nExperience with reliability methodologies including RCA, FMEA, RCM, downtime analysis\nStrong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies\nExperience engineering and designing electrical/instrumentation/automation systems\nProficiency with Rockwell and Modicon PLCs, HMIs, AutoCAD, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint\nBilingual Spanish is a plus\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be flexible as facilities operate 24/7 and emergency support may be required\nWeekend on-call coverage required\nMust be comfortable with approximately
