Oregon\nFLSA Status: Non-Exempt\nPosition Summary: Performs a variety of general warehouse and yard activities by staging customer orders, loading and unloading product and providing exceptional customer service for Tyree Oil internal and external customers ensuring accurate order preparation along with supporting the Tyree Oil core values.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEnsure processing, packaging and shipping orders are executed accurately and on time; Load trucks with the products and amounts as listed on daily Sales Orders for scheduled deliveries provided by the Supervisor.\nUnload trucks delivering product, confirm it is the right products and quantities are correct in accordance to the Bill of Lading/Delivery Note.\nRestock and organize the warehouse in accordance with Company standards.\nEnsure stocks are organized, inventory are accurate and follow First-In-First-Out principle; Inspect products for defects and damages.\nEnsures the warehouse and yard areas are kept clean and free of obstacles by emptying trash, wiping down drums, pails, and kegs, pressure washing equipment, and maintaining landscaping.\nIdentifies leaks or spills by performing daily walk-throughs of oil-water separators and bulk tanks. Examines buildings and fences daily for damage.\nGreets and assists walk-in customers obtain fuel and lubricant products by pulling, loading, and agreeing products and quantities to Sales Orders.\nResponsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to buildings, equipment and yard areas. Also responsible to perform general maintenance and repairs to tank and pump equipment at our retail outlet locations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nMinimum Experience: 2+ years warehouse experience.\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum Qualifications and CORE Competencies:\nValid class C driver’s license is required.\nForklift experience is preferred.\nBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.\nBasic knowledge and familiarity with computers is preferred.\nExcellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment performing several tasks concurrently.\nAbility to prioritize conflicting work demands under pressure.\nWorks well in a team environment, with a diverse workforce.\nOther job requirements:\nDriving Dependent Position: Yes\nProfessional license or registration: Yes – Forklift certification\nPost-offer background check required: Yes\nPost-offer drug test required: Yes\nDOT Covered: No; May require Medical Card based on weight of vehicle operated.\nPost-offer physical / functional test required: YES\nSafety Sensitive Position: YeS\nIn a safety-sensitive job, drug or alcohol impairment could result in significant injury to the employee and others in the area.
