Occupational Safety Program Specialist

Your expertise will shape programs, coach teams, and ensure our operations meet and exceed regulatory expectations.Your ImpactProgram Development: Design, implement, and refine safety policies and procedures that align with local, state, and federal guidelines.Compliance & Audits: Conduct scheduled audits and field inspections; flag hazards and verify compliance across work areas.Training & Empowerment: Provide clear, practical safety and emergency response training to employees at all levels.Incident Response: Lead fact-based investigations of incidents and near-misses; document findings and drive corrective actions.Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training to support compliance and continuous improvement.Culture Building: Collaborate with management to strengthen a proactive safety mindset across the organization.Regulatory Vigilance: Monitor industry trends and updates to regulations; adapt programs to stay current.QualificationsDegree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related discipline preferred.Demonstrated experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar safety-focused capacity.Strong command of OSHA regulations and consensus safety standards.Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.Comfort working independently while thriving in team settings.Analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at solving complex problems.Preferred credentials include CSP or CHST.Technical ProficiencyOSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)Workplace Safety & EHS Management platforms and practicesIf you’re ready to guide programs that protect people and improve processes, join us in Jonesboro.
