As a Grill Cook you are responsible for encompassing our goal of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience as well as:\nPreparing all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits\nEnsuring that guests' orders are properly portioned and ready to be served\nDisinfecting and sanitizing cutting boards, worktables, grill and equipment by following all sanitation guidelines\nRestocking items that were depleted during the shift\nReviewing status of work and follow-up actions required with the Manager\nCarrying equipment, food supplies, and utensils to and from work and storage areas\nEnsuring that foods are properly stored in containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage\nBecoming familiar with new menu items/dishes\nPerforming duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned At Ruby's Diner we challenge ourselves, and each other, to be the best.\nRequirements for this position are:\nMinimum of 2 years' restaurant industry experience working on the line\nUnderstanding professional cooking and knife handling skills\nAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressure\nAbility to take direction and work in a team environment\nGraduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred\nAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and Team Members\nFood handler's card required\nEureka Food Enterprises - Ruby's Diner, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
