This position is Hybrid and will be based in Wendell, NC\nOverview:\nThe Utility Systems & Solutions business is looking for a Program Manager (PM) to join our Partner Programs and Project management team. As a PM, you will be responsible for laying out the structure for successful execution of multiple projects on long term programs for our strategic utility customers. Responsibilities will include overseeing projects managed by other project managers while also managing the successful execution of few projects on the program, from project initiation through final closeout. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver customer success that helps generate more business. Headquartered in Wendell, NC, the Utility Systems & Solutions segment executes a diverse portfolio of projects, and this position will be focused on medium voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS) including medium-voltage power distribution equipment packaging and services. The PM role comes with ample opportunities for growth, reflective of Siemens mission to empower people with a growth mindset. As a customer facing team, we keep customer satisfaction at the forefront as we manage large projects in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities:\nDirect all phases of projects on a program from inception through completion.\nResponsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s).\nEstablish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.\nEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.\nProvide regular updates to team, PMO and executive management within Siemens and customers’ organization on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status- along with strategy to grow the program.\nIdentify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.\nManage customer expectations across the program and various functions on project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects.\nDirect diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.\nCollaborate with other PMO teams at the EA, Siemens Industry, and within other segments to ensure consistency and alignment, along with the sharing of best practices to continuously improve program efficiency and customer satisfaction.\nYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college .\n10+ years of relevant experience managing similar portfolios\nPMP certification\n5+ years leadership and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics\n20% Travel required (national and international)\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship\nPreferred Qualifications\nCommitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive market\nExperience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within project\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external Customers\nAbility to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer\nFamiliarity with Siemens power distribution product portfolio and utility customers\nDemonstrated success in improving efficiency of project execution in some capacity\nAbout Siemens:\nWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
