Process Control Engineer📍 Barberton, Ohio (Onsite)💰 Up to $110,000 base + bonus + full benefits + relocation supportWe’re supporting a major industrial manufacturing site in Barberton, OH that is looking to hire a Process Control Engineer to strengthen their onsite engineering team.This is a hands-on role in a live plant — you’ll be directly impacting production, uptime and performance.What you’ll be doingYou’ll take ownership of process control, electrical and automation systems across a 24/7 operation.Troubleshoot and improve control systems, instrumentation, DCS and PLCsSupport production to reduce downtime and improve efficiencyLead and deliver automation and instrumentation projects (including capex)Manage installation, commissioning and startup of new systemsWork closely with maintenance and production teams onsiteScope work, build cost estimates, and manage external contractorsThis isn’t a sit-back engineering role — you’ll be on the plant, solving real problems.What they’re looking forDegree in an engineering discipline5+ years in industrial manufacturing or chemical environmentsStrong experience with:PLCs (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley preferred)DCS systems (Foxboro or similar)HMIs and process instrumentationExperience with VFDs and electrical systemsAble to read and modify P&IDs and electrical drawingsComfortable working onsite in a fast-paced production environmentWhy this roleUp to $110k base + bonus + full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)Relocation support available for the right candidateStable site with ongoing investment and capital projectsReal ownership — not just supporting, but driving improvementsStrong engineering culture with cross-functional collaborationInterested?Apply directly or message me for a confidential discussion.
