The incumbent serves as a payroll subject matter expert, providing policy interpretation, advising on complex inquiries, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency.\nJob Description:\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister and generate standard payroll cycles and off-cycle payroll for the entire organization, including drivers and office staff inside and outside of the United States\nVerify payroll data accuracy through edit checks, troubleshoot errors, and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HRIS, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations\nMaintain payroll process documentation and internal controls with a strong emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance\nProvide expertise on payroll calculations and system functionality, perform manual calculations when needed, and offer initial troubleshooting support\nMonitor payroll calendar, provide input for planning, and ensure adherence to timelines and organizational requirements\nAssist employees with payroll-related inquiries and guide cross-functional teams on complex issues, including garnishments and tax matters requiring policy interpretation\nIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs; compile and deliver payroll-related reports and insights regularly and on demand\nAssist with payroll audits and documentation within HRIS and payroll systems\nMay assist with onboarding new team members as needed\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years of Payroll or related experience or military equivalent\nAND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to communicate effectively through various mediums\nAbility to determine the root cause of issues and create solutions\nAbility to collect, analyze, and interpret data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs\nProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel)\nKnowledge of pay regulations\nExperience with payroll system\nExperience with Source-to-Gross payroll processing solutions\nAbility to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment\nAbility to efficiently manage time\nAbility to work individually or as part of a team\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate's Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field with 3 years of Payroll or related experience or military equivalent\nPayroll associated certifications\nKnowledge of approaches and techniques for recognizing and resolving operational or process problems\nKnowledge of payroll calculations and processes\n\nThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.\nCompensation:\nFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
