Regional Sales Manager (South Central Region)Industry: equipment for vegetation managementLocation: Flexible (TX, LO, MS, AR, OK, NM, CO)Position OverviewOur client designs and manufactures specialized equipment for vegetation management. The company is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop and expand sales activities across an assigned territory (South Central) through dealer networks and direct engagement with municipal end users.This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong experience in public-sector equipment sales, dealer development, and municipal procurement environments. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving dealer performance, supporting municipalities throughout the sales process, and expanding market presence across the territory.The ideal candidate combines strategic territory development capabilities with strong field execution, technical understanding of equipment markets, and relationship management skills. Prior experience in municipal infrastructure equipment markets is essential. Direct vegetation management or mower equipment experience is preferred, but not mandatory.ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include mainly, but not limited to:Promote and sell the full range of company products within the assigned territoryEstablish, manage, and develop an effective dealer sales networkSupport dealers in identifying and developing municipal and public-sector sales opportunitiesDevelop relationships with municipalities, contractors, and public-sector stakeholdersDrive territory development initiatives to increase market penetration and dealer performanceAttend and support trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrationsOrganize technical support and act as the company interface with customers and dealersIssue written quotations in response to customer inquiriesMaintain accurate reporting of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions through the company CRM systemReport dealer inventory status, sales pipeline activity, and market feedback to management on a quarterly basisQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of sales experience in municipal, infrastructure, or public-sector equipment markets (preferred sectors: Vegetation management or mower equipment, Waste management equipment, Snow removal equipment and similar)Proven experience working through dealer distribution networksStrong understanding of municipal procurement processes and public-sector sales dynamicsDemonstrated ability to develop territories and grow dealer performanceStrong relationship-building and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and travel extensively throughout the assigned territoryExcellent organizational, communication, and reporting skillsExperience using CRM systems and sales reporting toolsTechnical aptitude and ability to support product demonstrations and customer discussions
