The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience delivering secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions as part of Agile development teams.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications supporting mission-critical business processes.\nDevelop application functionality using modern software development frameworks, tools, and programming languages.\nBuild and maintain APIs, system integrations, data interfaces, and supporting application services.\nParticipate in Agile software development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, development, testing, and release support.\nSupport DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software deployment processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and operational incidents.\nCollaborate with architects, developers, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure engineers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated technical solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation including design artifacts, test plans, release documentation, and operational procedures.\nSupport implementation of secure coding practices and assist with remediation of software security findings.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on software quality, maintainability, performance, and operational effectiveness.\nWhat You Will Need\nU.S. Citizenship.\nActive Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.\nBachelor's degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.\nFour (4)+ years of experience developing highly complex enterprise applications.\nCertified Scrum Developer (CSD) or ability to obtain and maintain certification.\nExperience developing software using one or more modern programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent technologies.\nExperience developing and supporting database-driven applications and system integrations.\nExperience working within Agile software development environments.\nExperience supporting secure, compliance-driven federal environments.\nStrong analytical, technical documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.\nExperience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment technologies.\nExperience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, microservices architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.\nFamiliarity with NIST 800-53, RMF, STIGs, secure coding practices, and authorization requirements.\nExperience supporting classified, national security, intelligence community, or other highly regulated environments.\nSecurity+, AWS, Azure, or related technical certifications.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
