This position will also assist in the design, fabrication and testing of new products such as reciprocating engine packages and battery energy storage systems. The role is a dynamic mix of technical expertise, project management, and strategic leadership, aimed at the cost-effective delivery of innovative products that drive company success.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word \"may.\")\n\nProject manage the engineering and manufacturing of new equipment and upgrades.\n\nCommunicate and interface with other functional groups within the network of internal companies including Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Field Support as needed.\n\nMaintain schedule to assure on time deliveries.\n\nPerform essential reviews of new and old designs and related equipment.\n\nManage the modifications and upgrades of existing equipment.\n\nRed line engineered drawings where applicable.\n\nEvaluate new products and new product implementation.\n\nAid operations with installation and commissioning of newly designed gas turbine packages and other equipment.\n\nBe the liaison between shop personnel and engineering.\n\nConduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.\n\nEvaluate operational readiness of newly designed gas turbine packages and related equipment.\n\nPerforms other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.\n\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older.\n\nSuccessfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).\n\nDaily in-person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.\n\nValid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.\n\nProficiency in spoken English language.\n\nAbility to travel based on business needs.\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energies or related field required.\n\nMinimum 10+ years’ experience in engineering and project management of mechanical and electrical equipment.\n\nBackground in Power Generation, LNG, or Oil & Gas preferred.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES\n\nAbility to read and interpret P&ID’s and PFD’s.\n\nPossess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.\n\nClear and concise ability to articulate ideas.\n\nProficient in cultivating meaningful and productive relationships, emphasizing interpersonal understanding and collaboration.\n\nStrong comprehension of business principles and strategies enabling informed decision making\n\nSubstantial experience in managing operations in the relevant field ensuring effective coordination and workflow.\n\nMust excel in matrix and startup-oriented environments and exhibit qualities of self-motivation and innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.\n\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
