We’re looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Civil and Environmental Resources team. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and architects to deliver precise, constructible designs for a variety of industrial, municipal, and renovation projects.\n\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure and environmental projects, while continuing to grow your technical expertise and leadership skills within a supportive, team-focused environment. If you thrive on solving complex design challenges and want to play a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable structures, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDesign structural components and document production (calculations, drawings and specifications) for a variety of project types and sizes\nParticipate in collaborative project teams in the initial planning and proposal processes, may include cursory review of environmental factors, government regulations, construction costs and risk analysis\nDetermine practical applications, strength and durability expectations and cost-benefits information\nCreate structural models using computer-aided design software\nCollaborate with project managers and other discipline team members including civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical to creatively solve competing design challenges\nDepending on experience level, project management responsibilities may be included\n\nQUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\n\nBachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures obtained from ABET accredited university/college\n\n8+ years of working experience as a Structural Engineer with PA Professional Engineer license\n\nHands on experience with computer-aided design software as well as AutoCAD and/or REVIT a plus, not required\n\nCollaborative design approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS\n\nExperience working with consulting firm preferred\nMunicipal water/wastewater and industrial and/or building renovation experience preferred\nExperience specifying and designing architectural components associated with municipal water and wastewater projects\n\nADDITIONAL NOTES\n\nThis position provides opportunity for growth, leadership and Project Management for the right candidate.
