The successful incumbent will be responsible for learning process design, operation and implementation. The Process Engineer Trainee will learn to improve the division’s processes to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve safety.\n\n*Essential Responsibilities*\n\n* Develop, configure and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up and completion\n* Maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of production-related manufacturing equipment and processes required to manufacture a high quality product in a repeatable and cost effective manner\n* Assess processes, taking measurements and interpreting data\n* Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes\n* Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates, quality of output and safety\n* Perform risk assessments\n* Provide process documentation and operating instructions and conducts training\n* Other tasks and activities as required\n\n*Position Requirements*\n\n* Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or Engineering discipline\n* 0 - 1 year of experience working in Manufacturing Engineering experience is preferred, aerospace preferred\n* Technical knowledge of casting industry and/or metallurgy is desired\n* Excellent technical skills\n* Working knowledge of MS Office and process engineering software packages\n* CAD or AutoCAD skills.
