Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 base salary (DOE)Travel: Required – Rocky Mountain region Likely First Assignment: Steamboat Springs, COThe OpportunityOur client, a respected and growing commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex, high-profile projects across Colorado. This role is ideal for a construction leader who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional projects with precision, safety, and strong team coordination.Projects may include:Multifamily developmentsLuxury condominiumsResort / hospitality propertiesHistoric restoration / renovationMunicipal / public sector workThe first assignment will most likely be based in Steamboat Springs, CO, with future projects throughout the Rocky Mountains and Front Range.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall field leadership from mobilization through project completionManage daily jobsite operations, logistics, and sequencingCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staffMaintain strict adherence to safety standards and quality controlDrive schedule performance and proactively address delaysPartner with Project Managers to ensure budget and scope alignmentLead and mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnelConduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholdersEnsure work is performed in accordance with plans, specs, and local codesWhat We’re Looking For7+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent / Senior SuperintendentStrong background in one or more of the following:MultifamilyLuxury condosResort / hospitalityHistoric restorationMunicipal / public projectsAbility to manage complex, multi-trade construction projectsExceptional leadership and communication skillsStrong scheduling and coordination capabilitiesDeep knowledge of construction methods, safety, and QA/QCComfortable working in mountain environments and variable conditionsTenure & Stability (Highly Important)Our client places significant value on long-term commitment and career stability. xaygatp Preferred tenure profile:No more than 2 employers in the past 5 years,ORNo more than 3 employers in the past 10 yearsCandidates demonstrating strong project ownership and longevity will be prioritized.Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel and temporarily work on projects in the Rocky MountainsAbility to be onsite for extended durations when assigned to remote locationsBenefits:Participation in Employee Profit Share Plan up to 15% of base salaryBenefits (list may not be inclusive of all benefits):Accrued PTO time off; additional time after 5 yearsEight and one half (8½) paid holidays401k planHealth and Dental insurance optionsFlexible Spending Account OptionsHealth Savings Account optionsSupplemental insurance optionsWhy This Role Stands OutOpportunity to lead landmark Colorado projectsStrong backlog and financial stabilityHigh-visibility, design-forward buildsSupportive leadership and collaborative cultureLong-term career growth potential
