In this role, you will be a key member of a collaborative development team of engineers and software developers, working together to assess systems and develop medium-to-high fidelity software models of real-world threat weapon systems that accurately capture the capabilities and limitations of both emerging and fielded systems.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nDevelop and enhance software digital twins using C++ and Python on Windows and Linux platforms, including:\n\nModeling advanced threat systems such as Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (SAMs), radar platforms, and missile seekers\n\nDeveloping high-fidelity propagation effects, including terrain masking, refraction, and over-the-horizon propagation\n\nCreating tracking filters and signal processing chains for radar and electronic warfare systems\n\nSupport simulation studies and integrate models into larger mission-level simulations.\n\nDevelop algorithms and techniques for Sensors, Missiles, and C4, including active/passive detection, clutter modeling, electronic attack, waveform selection, adaptive beamforming, and weapon/target assignment optimization.\n\nUnderstand and develop engineering designs provided by the customer, collaborating with the team to create software models at the required fidelity to meet customer goals.\n\nDefine requirements and design solutions for modeling and simulation (M&S) software.\n\nPlan, develop, and execute automated unit, system, and system-of-systems tests.\n\nParticipate in technical discussions to support both near-term and long-term planning.\n\nCollaborate within a team environment and mentor junior and mid-level software developers.\n\nRequired Clearance:\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance.\n\nMust be willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\n\nMaster’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, OR\n\nBachelor’s degree with 17+ years of experience.\n\nStrong programming skills in C++ and Python.\n\nExperience developing products with regular release cycles.\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams and classified customers.\n\nExperience in DevOps or DevSecOps environments.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\n\nSoftware development experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment.\n\nExperience working in an AGILE software development team.\n\nExperience mentoring junior team members.\n\nExperience designing, developing, or operating code for distributed processing environments.\n\nExperience working with environmental datasets, Command-and-Control, and RF propagation.\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\n\nAn active Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.\n\nThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.\n\nThe Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
