Tasks include monitoring the status of initiated services, rescheduling as necessary for interrupted services, and assisting with service setup and execution.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nWork with other crew members in the execution of daily and routine procedures to maintain system state of health, responding to issues as they arise, or gathering pertinent information for troubleshooting.\r\nLead daily turnover, updates operations log on daily activity progress, and review all operator log entries for accuracy.\r\nSupport system testing after upgrades and during maintenance activities.\r\nMonitor system performance to be able to respond to event notifications and determine courses of action.\r\nCoordinating with other crew members to maintain system state of health.\r\nReport discrepancies concisely as they occur.\r\nInvestigate and rectify procedural discrepancies.\r\nIdentify areas of process improvement.\r\nCoordinate with subsystem engineering subject matter experts to implement configuration changes and other maintenance activities on the network in accordance with operational procedures.\r\nCertify in multiple operator positions; knowledge-based and on-the-job training provided prior to certification testing.\r\nPerform remote diagnostic monitoring of systems.\r\nMonitor and perform actions related to mission processing.\r\nSupport requests for re-processing and/or playback, requests for lab analysis, and feedback to customers on results of each lab analysis and playback.\r\nSupport payload operations in coordination with other team members.\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\nBachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nActive TS/SCI clearance with minimum Polygraph (higher level polygraph required for continued employment).\r\nWillingness to work 12-hour shifts (5am-5pm or 5pm-5am).\r\nKnowledge of Radio Frequency spectrums, including utilization, acquisition, and correction.\r\nExperience operating complex satellite infrastructure and communication systems.\r\nNetworking proficiency.\r\nSelf-motivated learner capable of mastering complex systems with minimal guidance.\r\nMentorship skills.\r\nStrong customer interaction abilities.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\nProficient multitasking capabilities.\r\nAdvanced analytical and troubleshooting abilities.\r\nDesired\r\nExperience in a real-time operations environment, SIGINT signals analyst, SIGINT collection, real-time watch operations support.\r\nKnowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of satellite communications.\r\nPay Range\r\nThere are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
