This role requires experience working with pediatric clients.About UsOur organization is dedicated to providing exceptional housing and healthcare services, operating under a national framework that emphasizes community support and care.CompensationThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $48.95 to $53.87, depending on your level of experience.Work ScheduleThis is a PRN position, which necessitates travel to clients' residences.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver ongoing therapy to clients in accordance with physician directives.Document and communicate client progress within the organization.Evaluate and treat clients, while collaborating with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate records of services and adhere to state and federal regulations.Participate in agency meetings and provide training for staff as needed.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by relevant medical associations.Current state licensure or registration as an Occupational Therapist.A minimum of one year of experience in the field.Possession of a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, along with reliable transportation.Ability to comprehend medical terminology relevant to Occupational Therapy for effective communication with clients and healthcare teams.Coordination and dexterity to handle tools and materials while instructing clients.Physical strength and endurance to meet the demands of the role.Proficiency in using computers and electronic devices for documentation and timekeeping.Essential FunctionsAssess clients and provide Occupational Therapy based on physician orders.Supervise Occupational Therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides in client care.Plan, implement, and evaluate the Occupational Therapy services offered.Communicate client progress to attending physicians and consult on any changes in condition.Maintain treatment records, including progress notes and relevant documentation.Engage in client care planning meetings as necessary.Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and other team members regarding client care.Oversee departmental personnel functions, including staffing and training programs.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and continuing education initiatives.Ensure uninterrupted Occupational Therapy services by coordinating coverage for absences.Contribute to infection prevention and safety programs within the department.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.Our CommitmentAt our organization, we prioritize hiring compassionate and skilled staff who respect the individuality of our clients and support their independence.
