This hybrid role combines hands‑on field service support with project‑based engineering responsibilities. You will be responsible for executing installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in the field, while also supporting engineering projects and development efforts at our Advanced Laser Materials (ALM) Lab in Temple, TX when not traveling.\n\nYour Mission\n\nInstallation of equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality according to EOS specifications.\n\nProvide on‑site and remote technical support to troubleshoot and repair equipment.\n\nPerform preventive maintenance procedures within scheduled timelines.\n\nLead or support technical projects including system upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.\n\nActively contribute to engineering development, prototyping, and validation activities at the ALM Lab in Temple, TX when not deployed in the field.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, product management on project execution and issue resolution.\n\nDevelop and maintain project‑related documentation, timelines, and status updates.\n\nSupport customer‑specific engineering initiatives, including validation, testing, and optimization activities.\n\nCooperate in projects such as training, documentation development, and exhibition installations.\n\nEnsure timely and accurate submission of all service and project documentation in accordance with EOS procedures.\n\nManage service tools and spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of company assets.\n\nYour Talents\n\nMinimum 3–5 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment and/or engineering project environments.\n\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology (required).\n\n3–5 years of SolidWorks experience (required).\n\nExperience in additive manufacturing data preparation using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks.\n\nAbility to support engineering projects, including documentation, design reviews, and implementation.\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems, electromechanical assemblies, and motion control systems.\n\nThorough product knowledge of industrial lasers and axis motion systems is a plus.\n\nSkilled in interpreting written, schematic, and diagram‑based engineering instructions.\n\nProficiency with PC systems, MS Windows, networking basics, and MS Office tools.\n\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance field service and project priorities.\n\nStrong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across field service, engineering, and cross‑functional teams.\n\nProfessional communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.\n\nWillingness to travel extensively, including international travel.\n\nValid driver’s license and passport.\n\nOur Vision\nOver 1000 sharp minds, about 60 nationalities, one goal: accelerating the world’s transition to Responsible Manufacturing.\n\nOur proven technology, industrial 3D printing, has been extending the boundaries of manufacturing for over 30 years.
