This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of solid waste infrastructure projects from concept through construction and operations. You will support both public and private sector clients in planning, design, permitting, construction-phase services, and ongoing operational support.\n\nResponsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet project and program goals.\nSupport evaluations and feasibility studies for solid waste and organics management programs and facilities.\nPlan, design, permit, and support construction of facilities such as:\nLandfill cells and closures\nLandfill gas management and reuse systems\nComposting facilities\nTransfer stations\nConvenience centers\nIntegrated facility campuses\nProvide operational support for solid waste programs and infrastructure.\nAssist with other environmental and civil engineering projects as needed.\nLocal travel to job sites on occasion.\n\nRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively working toward licensure.\nMinimum 10 years of environmental infrastructure design experience, with a focus on solid waste, landfill, and organics management facilities.\nPreferred: Experience with construction-phase services.\n\nNote: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.\n\nDrug Screen Statement Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen.\n\nPay Range $120,000—$155,000 USD\n\nThe EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.\n\nWhy Join EA?
