Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Take on a meaningful contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in an educational setting, supporting staff and students during an OT maternity leave coverage. This position runs from October 26th, 2026, to March 29th, 2027, and offers the flexibility of working virtually for qualified candidates. You'll play a vital role in enhancing student success and ensuring consistent therapy services are delivered during this period.In this role, you will collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs. An important aspect of your responsibilities includes offering supervision to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).Qualifications & Experience:Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensePrevious experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferredAbility to provide supervision to a COTAStrong communication and collaboration skillsTech-savvy and comfortable delivering services virtually, if remoteCommitment to the full duration of the assignmentCore Responsibilities:Provide occupational therapy evaluations and direct/indirect services under IEPsDevelop and implement individualized interventions, strategies, and goalsSupervise and support a COTA to ensure high-quality therapy deliveryParticipate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and staffMaintain thorough documentation and timely progress reportsEngage families and caregivers to support student carryover of strategiesYou will have the chance to make a significant difference for students during a key transition period, with the support of a collaborative school team.
