This senior level requires you to be a subject matter expert in this technical selling role working closely with AppFolio Property Manager leadership making decisions that will impact the Property Management Industry.\nYou will be responsible for technical aspects of proposed solutions working in close partnership with our APM Sales team. You will drive sales with technical acumen, product expertise, product demonstrations, sales ability and a superior customer focus. SE’s participate as part of the sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.\nYour impact\nDrives new opportunities and assists the sales team in closing deals by managing the technical aspects in all of the sales cycle from discovery to due diligence.\nWork cross-functionally across product development, engineering, services, and marketing teams to penetrate a new AppFolio market.\nLeverage product knowledge to provide technical expertise to the sales team and customers.\nConduct customer needs analyses and assist in overcoming objections and problem solving.\nTechnical sales presentations; product demonstrations; and product proof of concepts, focusing on value the product brings to the customer.\nParticipate in customer facing meeting events such as Trade-Shows and Meet-Ups.\nWork directly with the sales leadership team to assist reps on best practices as needed.\nQualifications\nExperience selling, demonstrating, supporting, implementing or working closely with SaaS applications.\nThe ability to build extraordinary relationships with customers, team members and cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations and Product Teams.\nA passion for customer satisfaction, an affinity for details and possesses a record of independent action.\nFocused on value: Foundational understanding of software sales and the role of an SE\nAbility to Build Strong Partnerships: with Sales reps, Product team, and Customer Success\nTeam Player\nCurious Minded: about technology and business process/pain/goals\nAbility to diagnose prospect needs and build relationships through value-based approach\nAbility to uncover business requirements, analyze and understand customer systems and problems, and deliver solutions to clients\nMust have\n4+ years of direct, hands-on technical software experience in a customer-facing role as a Sales Solution Engineer\nPropTech Industry experience strongly preferred\nStrong Communication/Presentation Skills\nUnderstands competitive positioning\nHigh level of exposure to complex sales cycles\nAccounting understanding preferred\nThrives in fast paced environment\nExperience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, Google Docs\nUp to 20% travel\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $96,000-$120,000\nThe actual base salary wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.\nPlease note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package.
