Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines\nReceive and verify material shipment quantity and integrity\nCommunicate and/or resolve shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager\nSubmit required project reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner\nApproves purchase orders, inventory documents, and time sheets\nActively engage in developing and monitoring budgets and schedules, and controlling costs for large projects with many complex features\nPerform and complete final inspection and documentation\nPrepares conceptual, preliminary and definitive estimates\nDevelops and implements project scheduling standards and procedures\nEnsures that all project scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates, progress reporting, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements\nAssists in the determination of project manpower requirements and prepares periodic forecasts of personnel utilization.\nOversees purchase order volume and assists finance as needed with resolving vendor payment disputes.\nAttends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequired Minimum Qualifications:\nEducation: High School diploma or GED.\nWork Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in a Construction Management role or equivalent INCLUDING ten (10) years’ experience working within Construction (preferably within or related to the Oil & Gas industry).\nLicense/Certifications: OSHA 10 & H2S current certification, or ability to obtain up hire.\nPost Job Offer Requirements:\nTake and pass a pre-employment drug test\nAlaska North Slope locations only: Take and pass a Fit-for-Duty Examination\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:\nCapability of applying diversified knowledge of project management principles and practices\nCapability of independently making decisions\nAbility to perform all work in a safe manner that meets company & client standards\nMust be self-motivated and exercise self-initiative\nPerforms work in a professional demeanor\nDemonstrated ability to lead others in a positive manner\nComputer skills commensurate with program and job applications\nAbility to adapt to changing environment and work conditions\nStrong written and verbal communication – must be confident and comfortable in all aspects of project controls processes\nExcellent interpersonal skills with team members at all levels, agency representatives, clients and subcontractors\nPhysical Demand/Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
