The selected candidate will support development activities related to Mission System and Avionics at Boeing St. Louis.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\nSupports development activities and leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements related to Mission Systems and Avionics\nProvides interpretation of complex requirements and assists design engineers with technical reviews including configuration change proposals, preliminary / critical design reviews, First Article Inspections, and Qualification testing\nDevelops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements\nConducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities and Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRAs)\nProvides material review dispositions for non-conformances\nLeads and participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs\nDevelops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness\nInitiate and implements corrective actions based on nonconformance trend analysis\nPerforms benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved\nWorks under minimal direction\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\n\nBachelor of Science from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, mathematics, data science, physics, or chemistry\n3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)\n3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)\n3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n\nLevel 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nCurrent American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CQA);(CQE); (CQT)\nCertification in IPC and/or J-STD\nExperience in an avionics, electrical, and/or systems engineering role (IEEE, AIAA, ASME, etc.)\n\nTravel:\n\nPosition may require travel up to 20% of the time.
