This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills, gain valuable industry experience, and work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety and teamwork.\n\nOperator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nOperate production equipment, including drying, mixing, batching, and bagging machinery.\nFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company documentation accurately.\nAssist with equipment setup, assembly, and cleaning, including Clean in Place (CIP) procedures.\nEnsure proper labeling, weighing, and staging of batches in accordance with packaging standards.\nWork in wet, dusty, or elevated environments while adhering to all safety and safety policies.\nUse manual pallet jacks and secure forklift certification if applicable.\nParticipate in safety training such as Hazcom, Chemical Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, and others.\nSupport sanitation efforts and maintain good housekeeping practices on the production floor.\nReport safety hazards, injuries, or incidents immediately to supervisors.\nCross-train across different work centers for flexibility and efficiency.\nAssist with allergen handling, chemical use, and confined space tasks when necessary.\n\nOperator Requirements:\n\nNo prior experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.\nAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.\nGood mathematical and data entry skills.\nCapable of working consistently in a manual, fast-paced environment.\nWillingness to work in varying temperatures and environments, including wet or dusty conditions.\nAbility to read and interpret SOPs and documentation.\nMust be able to work on-site with reliable attendance.\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
